Please tell us something about yourself.
I come from a mill workers family which fell into a lot of hardships But I learnt engineering and then I Joined FTII to learn editing where I won several awards in Editing for Students films and then I came into filmmaking because I came into contact with Spandan an organization which inspires students in filmmaking in rural and backward areas and then to sustain myself I became a financial advisor in LIC and mutual funds. Then with likeminded people from Spandan I worked on the script of Kurla to Vengurla and with funds pooled from relatives and friends I made this film.
How did you cast for this film?
All the lead actors like Veena Jamkar, Vaibhav Mangle, Sunil Tawde fitted easily in their respective roles and all the young talent from Spandan and other sources have also done a good job.
Where did you shoot this film?
Vengurla and Kurla.
What is the approximate budget of this film?
2 to 2.5 cr.
Coming back-to-back with a Konkan based film like Dash Avtar, will it be difficult for yourself?
Not at all. Infact, I congratulated the makers of the film.
