*’Dhurandhar 2′ to be released on Eid 2026; Mega pan-India release in five languages*
Dhurandhar, which created box office history with its Hindi release, is now all set to make a comeback on a bigger scale. After the film received a huge response, especially in South India, the makers have officially announced its sequel.
Dhurandhar 2 is set to release on Eid 2026, i.e. on March 19, 2026. The film will be released simultaneously in five languages — Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam — making it a truly pan-India film.
Although Dhurandhar was released only in Hindi, it received a huge response in South India. Social media discussions, word of mouth and repeated viewings of the film created a lot of excitement among the audience. Distributors and theatre owners in South also continuously demanded a dubbed version.
Keeping this natural demand of the audience in mind and considering the South Indian audience living abroad as well as in India, the makers have decided to release Dhurandhar 2 in all major languages from the outset.
The film is directed by National Award winner Aditya Dhar and produced by Geo Studios and B62 Studios. Dhurandhar 2 will take both the story and action to a grander and bigger scale than before.
The film is currently in the post-production stage and is being considered one of the most talked about and highly anticipated Indian films of 2026. The makers are also exploring the possibility of a mainstream release in some foreign markets besides India.
